Artist Statement:

If one follows the line of thought that the linear passage of time is an illusion, then all moments exist simultaneously. What is perceived as the present is occurring in conjunction with the perceived past and future. But the question remains: is there only one past and future attached to each present moment, or are there infinite possibilities, infinite realities, existing beyond our perception? In the World Between Worlds exhibit, the artist Don Matthews has explored these questions associated with time and infinite realities in painting.
